Authorized Factory Service School (AFSS)

This 4-day school will guide you through all of the facets of Briggs & Stratton engines being used in the OPE industry. You will completely disassemble, inspect, and reassemble a Briggs & Stratton overhead valve engine. After completing this course you will have the technological edge to be successful in today’s OEP industry. This school will prepare you to take the online competency exam to become a Briggs & Stratton warranty dealer.

Subjects to be covered will include: Parts Look-up, Price Lists, Service Manuals, Rewind Starters, Four-Cycle Theory, Carburetor Theory, Governor Systems, Electrical Theory, Electrical Testing and Trouble Shooting, Systematic Trouble Shooting of Engines, Major Engine Failure Analysis, Briggs & Stratton Warranty Policy Procedures and much, much more!

Briggs & Stratton Power Products (BSPP) Generator & Pressure Washer School
This 2-day school is designed to demonstrate and show the proper techniques in trouble shooting and repairing Briggs & Stratton Portable Generators and Pressure Washers. By attending this school you will have a better understanding of generators and pressure washers. This school will prepare you to take the online competency exam to become a Briggs & Stratton Power Products warranty dealer.

Individual One Day Refresher Courses

MWE offers several one day courses to improve your knowledge on various topics to prepare you to take the online competency test to become a Briggs & Stratton or Briggs & Stratton Power Products dealer. Pick and choose the subjects where you are weak or just need a refresher and attend one day or consecutive days.

Master Service Technician (MST) Exam

MWE invites you to test your experience and skills as a Briggs & Stratton technician. Today's consumer is looking for a higher level of technical service. Becoming a Master Service Technician fulfills that consumer's service need. Both Briggs & Stratton and MWE recognize this outstanding achievement with added status and benefits. It is a requirement for a Diamond dealer to have a MST on staff.

Technical Update Seminar

MWE offers multiple ways for your business and technicians to keep up to date with changes, technical information, and service/warranty procedures of the various products MWE offers.

It is a requirement that all Briggs & Stratton warranty dealers and Master Service Technicians (MST) view an annual update and pass the online update test to maintain their status.
